Where's the heart?" - Dimitri Belikov

Richelle Mead
About This Quote

Dimitri Belikov was one of the main characters in the book, The Cossacks. He was a Russian general who fought against Napoleon. His bravery and courage were well-known, but even more so, his humor. He could tell a joke once, but the next time he told it, it became funnier.

One of his favorite things to say was “Where's the heart?” What he meant by this question is that everyone has heart. It’s just that sometimes people are hard to understand or are scared to show it because they're afraid someone will take advantage of them.
